This is a controur drawing of ellen sweeping up the leaves that had dropped from the trees in her shady garden. She swept them off the various flagstone patios a local stone mason had created. I joined her in her work and then ellen decided to find the tarp. Without much trouble, we found several in the garage, picked the smallest-looking one, opened it up at the site of our leaf piles, and sweep, sweep, sweep, got the leaves on it and transported them to the roadside. The village dept. of public works picks them up from there. The day was bright and sunny and we made the patios inviting. i sat at one and did some of my evening devotionals.
